Rosconn Sponsor The Warwick District Foodbank Van

News Reach - Van Livery 1

Warwick, Leamington and Kenilworth Foodbanks joined together to form the Warwick District Foodbank in January 2017. There are now 7 satellite centres serving people in need across the three towns. During 2017 the Foodbank provided food for 2926 adults and 1324 children which amounted to 42 tonnes of stock!

Having worked closely with our local Foodbank in Stratford upon Avon we decided to see how else we can help. Andy Bowen, Manager of the Warwick Foodbank had expressed the need for a van to distribute the stock between centres.

Rosconn Foundation were eager to help and proudly sponsored the purchasing of a van. Now with the keys in Andy’s hand we are pleased to hear how much help it has been, allowing the stock to be moved freely from one centre to the next, depending on the needs of each place.

With the help of our design consultant and 8×4 Media what is currently just a white van, is off to be wrapped. For the many miles the van will be travelling the van will be advertising the Foodbank and contact details. We look forward to seeing the finished van, please continue to follow the story of our sponsorship with the Warwick Foodbank and the wonderful work they do.
